It has good reviews as a very good organic potato. Carolus is a Dutch mid-early yellow table potato with red eyes. The variety is fairly floury and has good quality for cooking and frying. The Carolus potato can for example be used in the same way as almond potato (mandelpotet). This year we have one more new variety: Alouette is a firm potato, in the category firm to fairly firm. It is a tasty red potato with a fine, mild and soft taste. It suits most things: boiled, baked, fried, in the oven or in potato salad.
